The purpose-built titanium cup face and crown and the heavy, high-density steel sole plate are a technology that is unique to the XCG V. Raising the bar on distance capabilities, the XCG-V’s new titanium cup-face is 25% larger than previous models for even more explosive power and distance. This engineering advancement creates a bigger hot zone for impressive power even on off-center hits. Consistent with Exotics technology, the V-series also has an extremely low spin rate, optimizing trajectory and maximizing length. The unique titanium cup face and hosel design is expensive feature that allows an additional 30 grams of weight to be transferred to the high-density steel sole to deliver unsurpassed feel and responsiveness. Built with pure Exotics sophistication, 80% of the XCG-V’s total head weight is in the rear heel and toe of the sole . This set up is achieved by the heavy high-density steel sole plate.
