Pga Golf

Ever catch yourself dreaming of what it would be like to walk the links with your personal caddy at a PGA Golf Tournament instead of watching all the action unfold on TV? Wondering if the right training and mentoring could someday help you channel your talents and passion for the sport in your own career professional golf?
Although it may seem like a far fetched idea that would only become a reality, remember all the legends of golf. Take, for example, some of the true icons of the game as Lee Trevino, Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods. These people have learned the sport inside and outside and have achieved enormous success and their amazing accomplishments throughout their careers in professional golf.
It might be difficult to imagine that these stars are focusing on something other than golf since the disc incredible chip shots and putts seem to go hand in hand with the mere mention of their names. But here's a rare glimpse behind the scenes at some of the greatest golfers got their start and where the game taken.
Perhaps with one of the most interesting stories, is Lee Trevino's. One of golf's first and finest players have grown up with little money and began working at an early age to help his family make ends meet. He began working in cotton fields and found His love for golf shortly after he began caddying at a local course. Before making a career of professional golf for him, Trevino also served four years with the U.S. Marines.
Starting on the title college crowd favorite Tiger Woods first attended Stanford University. He left school after a few years to concentrate on golf and turned professional in 1996 at age 21. Other benefits include College Bound Phil Mickelson who attended Arizona State University where he studied psychology. Tom Lehman, who earned his degree in administration and accounting. Fred Couples went to the University of Houston.
Taking a look back at some other players also proves that golf was not always sport such legendary names started to play, but rather, that they stuck in the long term. For example, Davis Love III, a big name on the course today has had a real affection for ice hockey in his younger years. Teammate Lee Janzen took baseball as a child and spent his summers participating in Little League teams. He also continued playing tennis for a while before realizing golf was the sport he loved and played better.
Other sports enthusiasts who include Ernie Els took his hand in rugby, cricket and tennis before turning pro in 1989 and Beginning his career in professional golf. Like Els, Vijay Singh has also played cricket and rugby when he was younger and dabbled in football before settling on golf and turned pro in 1982.
With golf as their main objective, many pros can not get enough the sport and kept him in other ways. Fred Couples has done work involving golf academies, business equipment and clothing lines. Tom Weiskopf has designed several courses across the country and spent time as a golf analyst on television.
As well you can see, not every professional golfer started on the greens. Many others continued education, sports and hobbies and some even had take upon themselves to create their own opportunities. It just goes to show that with proper training, concentration and determination, a professional golf career can be achieved if you're up for the challenge.
