General Motors Corp. (GM) HUMMER division offers something for fans of British car this coming week. The automaker Detroit will bring the popular HUMMER H3 in dealer showrooms across the UK. To adapt the standards of conduct of the country, GM will RHD (RHD) version of the Mid Size HUMMER H3 SUV that will roll into the country starting this summer.

In an opening ceremony held at the facility Bauer Millett HUMMER in Manchester, England, Bob Lutz, Vice-President and GM Global Product Development has launched a prototype model of HUMMER H3 with a configuration of RHD. In addition, he also commented: "iconic HUMMER design and unparalleled off-road capabilities appeal to a wide audience across World. We are determined to capitalize on the recognition of this unique brand in Europe and especially here in the United Kingdom. "

Based on the vehicle General Motors GMT345 platform, the Hummer H3 features more compact overall size compared to the model Hummer H2. The body length measures 186.7 cm, width and 85.5 inches. H3's wheelbase measures 111.9 inches long. Outside, the Hummer H3 is equipped with the signing HUMMER 7-slot grille blades and other external parties including round headlamps and vertical lines to the rear and side of the vehicle, skid plate embossed, GM exhaust pipe, 16 – or 18-inch alloy wheels big and rectangular windows. These features of the HUMMER H3 shows off elements HUMMER traditional design for on-site and off-road vehicles. Can not get enough? The HUMMER H3 also offers numerous optional equipment for the UK peeps. These include the towing package, cover trailer hitch receiver, brush guard chrome grille, chrome tubular step, protective bottom Cash, mud flaps, and a hitch mounted bike rack, side window deflectors, to name a few.

Travel Inside, the H3 is equipped with bucket seats and luxurious comfort for up to five people. All seats found on the HUMMER H3 has an appointment leather with double-stitched "French" bunch of seams and interior inserts and piping options to choose from. In addition, a foam density and soft bolsters are also included for additional comfort and travel the 60/40 split rear seats can be folded down to add up cargo space vehicle. Other standard features or options include sliding glass sunroof, floor mats all season mats and cargo, cargo tissue area, and the protective side cover.

The Hummer H3 with Right Hand drive (RHD) configuration will arrive in dealerships UK equipped monstrous Vortec General Motors 3.7-liter (3464 cc) engine with dual overhead cam head and VVT. The engine is capable of delivering 242 hp (164 kW) at 5600 rpm and 242 lb.-ft. (305 Nm) amount of peak torque at 2800 rpm.

Compared to other models HUMMER H3 is available with either manual or automatic gearboxes, the first model to have one. Customers can choose between a box or five-speed manual Hydra-Matic 4L60 electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission four-wheel power. GM StabiliTrak stability control system (ESC) is available for the H3 as a standard component.
